Roamer World
Pupils can use Roamer World to create programs and procedures through a standard keyboard, to move, turn, draw and make sounds. The IT programme of study, modelling, requires pupils to be taught: explore the effects of changing variables in simulations and similar packages, to ask and answer questions of “what would happen if..? type eg. Change the value in a given logo procedure and see the results. Roamer World is ideal for providing practical and exciting activities to enrich pupil learning and the application can be linked to aspects of learning in other curriculum areas.
