CISCO Technicians Course

The City Learning Centre CISCO Networking Academy was started in 2007. The course is aimed towards students wishing to become IT technicians and involves an introduction to computer components, laptops and portable devices, wireless connectivity, security, safety, environmental concerns and diagnostic tools. The course has been taken up by 6th Form students at 2 local schools, Don Valley  and Hatfield,  and is proving popular. The course can be accredited as part of the OCR Certificate/Diploma for IT practitioners (iPRO) Level 2. In the future further course are to be considered such: IT essentials, Network Operating Systems.
