Stonehill School Animation Project

Dated: 25/03/2009

We have been delighted to welcome primary pupils from Stonehill School  to the CLC  who for the past 4 weeks have been working on creating animated movies. The children first used plasticine to create their cartoon models and to plan a storyboard from which to base their movie. They then used the software I can Animate to bring the models to life with the use of Digital video cameras. Movies were made using the Apple I Life suite software, including I Movie and Garageband to create some sound effects. The children were quick learners and enjoyed the opportunity to use the software to bring their stories to life. Pupils had a most entertaining learning experience and received certificates as a result of their endeavours at the end of week school assembly.
